Installing with Homebrew

Candle provides a dedicated Homebrew tap for installing and managing its tools on macOS.

1. Add the Candle tap

Add the official Candle tap to Homebrew:

brew tap candle-ecosystem/candle

2. Install an artifact

Install the desired Candle artifact using brew install.

Installing a specific version

You can use @ to specify a version when installing an artifact. This allows you to install an older version instead of the latest one.

Versioned formulae must be published in the tap for the requested version to be installable.
