CASM Registers

CASM registers are written r0 through r255. A register operand identifies a slot in the current function's register frame. See CandleVM registers for the runtime storage model.

Two special names can be used anywhere a register is expected:

NameEncoded registerMeaning
self0Reads as a reference to the current module.
void255Reads as Null; writes to it are ignored.

Function parameters begin at r1; captures follow the declared parameters. See Functions.
